the highlight of our november was easily when my older kids spent a week in mexico and we flipped their rooms around and completely surprised them!  you will see ella jumping in the film for a few seconds, but it honestly lastly for about a half hour!

a few weeks back i bought a medium format film camera and decided i would spend the fall and winter beginning a new adventure of learning to shoot film!  today i got back my scans and even though i have a lot to work on and learn, i was so grateful and motivated by the images.  the skin tones are just so dreamy to me..

while the kids were away, we spent the first half of the week redoing each of their rooms and surprising them upon their return home!  it was hectic, but SO SO SO worth it!  i wish i could relive their reaction over and over :)  here is a glimpse of ella, but i also got some film to add to our monthly video!
