things are busy! a really good busy and i cannot complain.  my summer is almost booked with photo sessions and weddings and i am so excited about where my little business is going.  blogging has had to take a back seat, but i am still here :)  if interested, here is a where you can view my professional work!

happy holidays everyone!  i did my best to take a little time off and spend it with my family the last few days.

the older i get, the more i appreciate this time of year.  i love the food, the celebrating, old + new traditions, white elephant exchanges, seeing family + friends, christmas morning, wrapping surprises and the music.  it just is so magical!

one of our ‘newer’ traditions is heading to door county a couple days after the holidays.  it forces me to relax.  not clean, cook and do laundry.  and if you have been there before, you know that it doesn’t even matter what you actually ‘do’…you will enjoy yourself!

this trip was mainly sledding + swimming!
