today was a perfect day.  i think the highlight was the first five minutes of easton waking.  it went like this….easton wakes and i jump up to be the first to wish him happy birthday.  i open his door (matt right behind me –  side note:  faffy = paci) and say ‘goooood morning!  happy birthday easton!!!’ he replies, ‘thanks mom’ and repeats that with a ‘thanks dada’ after matt wishes him a happy birthday.  immediately after, he grabs his paci and says ‘faffy all done.  faffy is for babies.  i put faffy in the garbage.’  i pull him out of bed and he takes his paci, walks right to the bathroom garbage and tosses it in!  matt and i pretty much look at each other in shock!  but hey, awesome!  i will take that!

the rest of the day was fun.  watched ella and cason at swim, ate his favorite snack at the pool (pretzel with cheese!), visited grandma mona, stop at the park, napped, more parks, went swimming and ate grilled cheese from kopps (the best!), watched casons baseball game and ended doing this…ICE CREAM!  can’t beat that for a 3rd birthday!
